Our Reston office is a full-service home for everyday vision care, serving adult patients across Reston, Herndon, Vienna, and Oakton with comprehensive and routine eye exams. Every visit begins with a thorough eye health evaluation and a precise refraction to fine-tune your prescription for nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia), astigmatism, and age-related reading changes (presbyopia), and our eye doctors screen for the early stages of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease at the same appointment, along with early cataract changes. Reston is also home to our in-house NewView® Optical, where the whole family — ages five and up — can browse 17 designer frame brands and pair them with high-quality single-vision, bifocal, or progressive lenses, plus prescription sunglasses, anti-reflective coatings, and blue-light options for heavy screen users. As eyes change with age, our Reston team provides advanced medical and surgical management for the conditions that most often affect vision after 50, drawing patients from across western Fairfax, McLean, Great Falls, and eastern Loudoun for specialty care. We diagnose and treat cataracts with LENSAR laser-assisted cataract surgery and a full menu of premium lifestyle lens implants — including PanOptix Pro, TECNIS Odyssey, enVista Envy, TECNIS PureSee, Clareon Vivity, and TECNIS Symfony, with the RxSight Light Adjustable Lens being added to our offering (the right lens for you is always chosen in consultation with your surgeon). For glaucoma and ocular hypertension, we offer in-office Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), YAG laser peripheral iridotomy, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS/goniotomy) alongside long-term medical monitoring, referring complex cases to trusted specialists. We also monitor and manage dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) with AREDS2 nutritional guidance and Amsler grid tracking, evaluate posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) and its symptoms, and offer YAG laser vitreolysis for eligible patients bothered by persistent floaters, coordinating prompt specialist referral for wet AMD or any retinal condition requiring injections or surgery.

On the cosmetic side, our physicians perform eye-area aesthetics including BOTOX Cosmetic and Xeomin for crow's feet and forehead lines, dermal fillers such as Juvéderm Voluma XC, RADIESSE, and Belotero Balance for under-eye hollows and facial volume, and cosmetic upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to address heavy, tired-looking, or hooded lids. Our team also manages painful styes and chalazia, contact lens-related infections and corneal ulcers, and eye trauma such as a black eye, while urgently evaluating the warning signs that can signal a serious problem — a sudden shower of new floaters or flashes of light, a curtain or shadow moving across your vision, or acute eye pain with light sensitivity — so that sight-threatening conditions are caught and, when needed, referred without delay.
