Monovision is a technique where one eye is corrected for distance vision and the other for near vision. Your brain learns to use each eye for different tasks. Dr. Jacqueline D. Griffiths is a board-certified refractive and cataract surgeon and the Founder and Medical Director of NewView Eye Center. She earned her undergraduate degree at Yale University, her medical degree at the University of Michigan, and completed her ophthalmology residency at Georgetown University Medical Center. She serves as an oral board examiner for new ophthalmology graduates and has been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2015.
