Most swelling clears within three to seven days, and bruising typically fades within one to two weeks. The filler continues to integrate with surrounding tissue over the following two weeks, after which your results will look their most natural.

Although very rare, filler can accidentally block a blood vessel that supplies your eye or the surrounding tissue. This type of vascular blockage is a medical emergency. It can cause sudden vision loss, severe pain, or visible skin changes and requires immediate treatment to prevent permanent damage. If you notice any of the following after your injections, seek care right away.

- White or pale patches on the skin appearing right after injection
